Tetra Pond Algo Free 500ml

Tetra Pond AlgoFree eliminates green water caused by suspended (or planktonic) algae. It also acts as a preventative measure even at low temperatures by preventing the first surge of algae in the springtime.

The mechanism of action is straightforward: the active ingredients in AlgoFree attach to the algae cell wall and bond firmly with it. The cell wall ruptures, and the algae are killed. The dead algae residues, along with the attached active ingredient molecules, are then microbiologically broken down. The effect is noticeable within just a few days.

AlgoFree is also suitable for ponds containing aquatic plants, animals, and microorganisms!

Note:
AlgoFree is not suitable for sturgeons.

Application:

• Shake the bottle well before use!
• Use the dosing cup to add 25ml AlgoFree to 1,000 litres of pond water.
• Repeat the application with the same dosage on the following day.
• For optimum effect, distribute evenly in the water with a stick or similar.
• Before and after treatment, remove as much algae as possible with a landing net, as dead algae impair the water quality.
• Ensure a sufficient supply of oxygen during the treatment.
• Do not filter via UV clarifier and activated carbon for at least 7 days after application of the product.
• In case of heavy algae growth, add half the amount again after approx. 2 weeks.
