Avian Sun™ 5.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent Lamp is a specialized lighting bulb designed to provide safe UVB and UVA radiation for birds, supporting both their physical and mental health.

Installation & Use:

• Recommended distance: 18–20 inches (46–51 cm) from the bird’s perch.
• Must be positioned directly above the bird, not from the side.
• Improper placement (e.g., side mounting) can cause eye damage.

Replacement:

• UVB and UVA output remains effective for up to 12 months.
• The bulb should be replaced after 12 months for safe and effective performance.

Safety Notes:

• Do not place the lamp closer than recommended distance.
• Allow the lamp to acclimate to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before turning it on, especially in cold conditions, to prevent thermal shock and extend lifespan.
